Sugarbush Activities
The Mad River Valley
The valley is bound by Lincoln Mountain of the Green Mountain National Forest to the
west and the Northfield Mountain Range to the east. Lincoln Mountain is made up of
3 of the 8 Vermont 4000 foot peaks, Mount Ellen, Cutts Peak, and Mount Abraham
(Mansfield and Killington contain the rest). To the south is Granville Gulf, where
you can find the waterfalls that form the headwaters of the Mad River and the White
River. The White River flows south along 100 and 107, and merges with the
Connecticut River to divide Vermont and New Hampshire. The Mad River flows north
through the valley, upon which the largest towns of Warren and Waitsfield lie.
Eventually the Mad enters the Winooski River Valley, which Route 89 follows
northwest on to Burlington and Lake Champlain.
Sugarbush Lift Tickets and Passes
The Sugarcard is the best deal. Guests can't use your Sugarcard, so pass this on to
regular guests. Purchase online or call 800.53.SUGAR. All Passes are picked up at
the Season Pass Office, next to Gatehouse Lodge at Lincoln Peak 802.583.6533.
Sugarbush Health and Raquet Club
A full Rec Center next to the house with: rock climbing, gym, weights, indoor pool,
sauna, jacuzzi, co-ed steam room, three indoor tennis / racquet ball courts, massage, and

Central Vermont Snowmobiling
These are listed in order of least distance from the ski house. I would call all of them, and see
how much "freedom" they give you in the tour. See how long the track is, and what kind of
terrain it goes over. Stowe ST and Killington ST are the two best and largest.
